Came here for a sunday roast after a nice walk. I got the pork and my friend got the beef. I asked for mashed potatoes insteas of baby potatoes. Didnt regret it. Pork was quite dry unfortunately, veggies lacked of flavor, cabbage was odd,not the best, roast potatoes weren't very roasted but cooked properly (not dry),gravy could be much better, decent cauliflower cheese.great swevice tho and really friendly atmosphere, amazing view

WE stayed here beginning of December. We loved it so much! Beautiful room, four poster bed, lovely bath and gorgeous views. Really great coffee machine in the room too. Had the loveliest time and we are going back in January as we liked it so much!

Absolutely wonderful! I stayed one night in a double room (Room 9), with breakfast, and I also had an evening meal in the pub restaurant. All the staff made me feel very welcome and the service was first class. My room was clean, cosy and very well appointed and I slept extremely well. I had the haddock and chips for my evening meal which was amazing and probably the best battered fish I've ever had. Breakfast was also just as delicious. I highly recommend The Norfolk Arms for the food, their lovely rooms and their kind hospitality. Very glad I chose to stay here.

A warm and friendly welcome from the bar staff, who were happy to engage in banter. We'd been out for a walk at Wyming Brook, and called in as we fancied a drink. There was a nice warm log burner glowing, and had we not already had our packed lunch, would have happily stopped for the Sunday lunch. It looked magnificent, so will definitely look to call in and sample it next time we're in the area.

Booked a table for 16 people for Christmas lunch. Food really good & reasonably priced, staff were excellent and the service was first class. Beautifully decorated room with lovely ambiance. Everyone agreed it was a great experience.

We had a superior double. Good size room. Good value. Just slightly shabby but clean and well presented. A trailing TV power cable not in the trunking that was there is a bit naff. The metal framed bed was a bit creaky. We also had dinner and it was well received.

They hosted my brothers celebration of life and couldn't have been more supportive and made the event so special. From the preparation of the room to the buffet and service of staff everything was beautifully done. X

Stayed for one night while dropping daughter off at University. We'd previously passed the Norfolk Arms on the way to the Peak District and liked the look of it. Spacious doubleroom with great view of the countryside, comfortable bed and effective shower. 5 real ales on tap in the bar - pity I couldn't try all of them. Lovely veggie breakfast in the morning. Great value and friendly staff.
